Angels
Would you know an angel
if you met one today?
Would you know that she was sent from Heaven
Could you tell it right away?
There would be no golden halo
or heavenly choir to sing.
There would be no long white dresses
You'd see no feathered wing.
If an angel came to visit
Would you open up your door?
Would you let your heart be caring,
Would you let your spirits soar?
Guardian angels are among us
You meet them every day
They come in all shapes and sizes
To help us find our way.
I know that I have met real angels
I chat with them each night
and when I am feeling down
they make me feel just right.
So if you meet an angel
Be sure to be her friend
She will wrap her love around you
and support you til the end.
